How to integrate LEXI Gateway with Amazon Alexa
To control
LEXI Devices using your Amazon Alexa voice assistant, you need to add LEXI
skill to your Amazon Alexa.
- Open the
Alexa app on your mobile phone and click on "More" option.
- Click on "Skills & Games" option and search for the skill “LEXI Smart Spaces” in
the “Search Alexa Skills” box.
- Select the “LEXI
Smart Spaces” skill and click on “Enable To Use” button.
- This will
take you to the LEXI Cloud App login page. Enter your LEXI username and
password and click on the Login button.
- On successful login, it will display the Locations added to your
LEXI account.
- Select the Gateway Location you wish to associate with Alexa and you should receive a message "LEXI Smart Spaces has been successfully linked". Click the Close button.
A message will appear now saying “Alexa is looking for devices to connect...”.
You will see the number of devices found by Alexa and can setup these devices so Alexa knows where
these devices are located. You can also add the devices under a group.
- Alexa integration
will also show in your Location Settings under Integration option and you can
control these devices using Alexa.
