How to add Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV)

Adding a Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) to your LEXI app is easy

Alert
Note: You will need a LEXI Gateway to add the TRV to your LEXI app.

  • Open your LEXI app and click Add a Device. You can also add your TRV by clicking the + sign under Devices tab.




  1.  Select Brand as LEXI, Device Type as Actuators and wireless protocol as Zwave. Click Next.



  1. When prompted by your app, click OK button and reset the TRV by clicking the Rotary plate 3 times in quick succession. You will see - - on the LED screen, which means the device is getting reset. The Wi-Fi icon must be off on the LED screen once the device is successfully reset.



  1. Once the TRV is detected by the app, enter the Device Specific Key (DSK) and click OK.
  2. When prompted by the app, click OK button and reset the TRV once again by clicking the Rotary plate 3 times in quick succession to complete the pairing process.
  3. The Wi-Fi icon on the TRV LED screen should come on when the device gets successfully paired with your app.
Notes
DSK can be found on the label/box of your TRV or next to the battery compartment inside the TRV. Check by pressing on battery buckle and removing the outer cover of the TRV.

Note: If the TRV is not detected and you get a message in your app, please try again by resetting the TRV.
  1. Once the TRV is successfully paired with your app, name the device for easy recognition and control.



  1. The TRV will be listed under the Actuators section and you can control it using your LEXI app.




Notes
Note: Once the TRV is added, you will need to match the temperature on the TRV LED screen with your app. Please rotate the Rotary plate on the TRV till the LED screen shows the temperature as 05. Now match this temperature in your LEXI app to sync the TRV temperature with your app.
