How to reset your Smart Bulb

There are two ways to reset your LEXI Smart Bulb.

  1. The first method is to delete the bulb from the LEXI Mobile App.

  2. You can also reset the bulb by following the below process (this will leave the bulb still showing in your LEXI Mobile App and you can delete it later):

    For USA Smart Bulb

  • Switch on your Smart Bulb and power cycle it (on-off-on) 4 times (use the on/off switch associated with the socket in which the bulb is screwed into).

  • You need to switch the bulb on and off (with 3 seconds delay) 4 times. Which means, if you count the total clicks, it will be 8 clicks (counting on and off both).

  • Keep the device in a "switched on" state before you start the power cycle. 

  • Then switch it off, wait 3 seconds and switch it on. Wait another 3 seconds and then switch it off. Follow this for 4 power cycles.

  • Your device will start blinking the warm white color rapidly after you switch it on the 5th time. If it doesn’t start blinking, try the above steps again to power cycle it 4 times.

  • When the device starts blinking warm white after the completion of 4 power cycles, switch it on/off one more time to get it into pairing mode.

  • Your device will start blinking warm white color after the 5th power cycle. This indicates that the device is successfully reset and ready to be added to the app.

          For EU Smart Bulb

  1. Switch on your Smart Bulb and power cycle it (on-off-on) 4 times (use the on/off switch associated with the socket in which the bulb is screwed into).
  2. You need to switch the bulb on and off (with 3 seconds delay) 4 times. Which means, if you count the total clicks, it will be 8 clicks (counting on and off both).
  3. Keep the device in a "switched on" state before you start the power cycle. 
  4. Then switch it off, wait 3 seconds and switch it on. Wait another 3 second and then switch it off. Follow this for 3 power cycles.
  5. Your device will start blinking the cool white color after you switch it on the 4th time. If it doesn’t start blinking, try the above steps again to power cycle it 4 times.
  6. When the device starts blinking cool white after the completion of 3 power cycles, switch it on/off one more time to get it into pairing mode.
  7. Your device will start blinking cool white color after the 4th power cycle. This indicates that the device is successfully reset and ready to be added to the app.
